Have we ever thought about these?
If we’d been born into a different society and background, will we wear the Hijab?
And now that we do, are we really wearing it because Allah has commanded us? Or is the Hijab just the new fashion trend among Muslim girls?
When sisters are asked why they wear the hijab. Most of them responded first by saying they wear it because it is the will and the commandment of Allah on all females.
What comes next is the fact that it is our identity as a muslimah. It makes us stand out and has a moral uplifting to it. Anywhere in the world the hijab signifies you as being a MUSLIMAH.
As a Muslimah, the hijab, we know comes with its responsibilty. We shouldn’t do anything to tarnish it. That’s why when we wear the hijab, sisters agree, we are more conscious of the fact that we need to dress decently with it.
The hijab comes with its own certain level of respect and that of its wearer. Our bodies are like candy- sweet, inviting and pleasing to the eyes, that is why it is imperative we protect and cover it. Irrespective of religion, modesty is a thing to be reckoned with and encouraged.
There are different kinds of style, the human race being flexible, with different cultures and climates.
There are lots of ways to tie the scarf which makes a muslim sister appealing thereby making us fall in love with the hijab.
All over the web, we’ve seen hundreds of tutorials on how to tie different styles. What makes a sister unique is the abitlity to create her own.
It is possible to be trendy while incorporating our islamic values.
Allah is beautiful and He loves and appreciate beauty.

It is unfortunate that the hijab has been turned into a fashion accessory rather than doing it because Allah has asked us to.
i would like to advise us sisters to try and dress hijab-compliant … do not abuse the Hijab.

Vry lovely piece, especially coz it can prompt those not wearing hijab to do so. Care just has to be taken in not being too trendy and attractive with it. That can defeat the original purpose.

Gd job sis, may Allah reward u. However, its important that the dress that comes wv da hijab is decent as well. Girls still wear tight clothes along-side the hijab, sometyms shoirt dresses as well, most importantly we should all work on our minds. May Allah make life easy for us both dunya and a’hir
